Every horse owner knows this. Insects like flies, horseflies, mosquitoes and other annoying buzzers can make life really hard for horses and ponies. Especially in the warm season everything revolves around the annoying bloodsuckers and flies.

The insects like to infest the eyes and nostrils of the horse. Especially in wind-protected areas, as well as near water bodies and forests, horses suffer from an increased fly plague.

To protect the horse from flies on the head and to ward off mosquitoes, there is a wide range of insect repellent products available today. In order to make a fly protection especially pleasant and efficient it is important that the protection products sit really well on the horse’s body and offer a high wearing comfort.

Horse bonnets or the fly fringes must therefore never be too large. But too small is not ideal either. In any case, the fly protection should be designed in such a way that the horse is not disturbed or restricted in its movement.

By means of the optionally available press studs (which, thanks to our own development, do not have to be sewn on), the wound dressings can be easily attached to the inside of the horse bonnet and thus also exchanged. The press studs are very flat and do not wear out annoyingly.
