The VetMedCare ® protective masks (light protection masks) have been specially developed as eye protection for horses when they are sensitive to light, e.g. after an operation (surgery).

The protective mask has the effect of a pleasant light attenuation (depending on the stretching of the material, however, a little light can of course pass through). In any case, the penetration of dirt is prevented and it also keeps away annoying insects.

The VetMedCare ® Horse Protection Mask is supplied without eye holes. The eye positions are marked and can be cut out with sharp scissors. Thanks to the running stitch-proof fabric, there is nothing else you have to do – the eye hole remains stable.

This protective mask has also proven itself in practice for many horse eye diseases. Simply use the protective mask with:

• recurrent eye inflammation
• annoying conjunctivitis
• after corneal injuries

This wound protection for head and ears fits like a second skin and offers optimal protection. Ideal after an horse operation in the head / neck area or also on the eye.

The eye openings are to be cut out as required. However, if your horse has had eye surgery, this horse protection mask is ideal. At this point the eye opening is not cut out and a sterile wound dressing can be fixed behind it. This guarantees an optimal fit and also protection against insects, which are known to immediately settle on injuries.

Cleaning of the wound protection for head and ears

1. In case of heavy soiling – go to the washing machine (up to 60 °C)
2. Roll up in towel
3. Immediately dry and reusable
