The innovative dog safety bag is a two-in-one novelty: it combines the “sleeping bag / dog bed” and the blanket at the same time

In general: In healthy dogs, the clean and dry fur is the best protection against cold in snow and ice. A “dog protective coat” is actually only necessary in exceptional cases.

It can be useful for old or sick dogs or for dog breeds with a very short coat and no undercoat such as greyhounds.

Furthermore, it is also useful for dogs in extreme situations such as avalanche searches or searches for buried subjects, on cold hunts in winter etc.; but also for puppies that are still insufficiently protected by their fur, a cold protection in the cold and wet season is a pleasant thing.

Normally, dog owners notice quite quickly whether their dog is cold. The dog then trembles, pulls in the tail, lifts the paws and looks cramped.

If dog owners decide on a high-quality “dog protection”, then we recommend paying close attention to the processed material.

Wool or cotton are generally not suitable, because both materials consist of hollow fibres and therefore get wet quickly, dry only slowly and the moisture accumulates. Much better suited are dog protection systems that are made of breathable and water-repellent material.
